Hello! Thank you for finding me, and welcome to my new blog venture -which isn't quite ready yet! Please bear with me while I get it off the ground -and, of course feel free to follow and check back over the next couple of weeks.My hope at the moment is to have a party here every month, based around various genres and subgenres of romance novels, with guest blogs and excerpts from authors who've written in those genres, plus discussion and prizes and other fun things. I'm looking on it as a great way to have fun while discovering new authors and themes to dip my reading-toe into.
So who am I? For those who've never met me before, I'm Marie Treanor, an author of mainly sensual paranormal and futuristic romance. As well as a string of ebooks published by Samhain, Changeling Press, Ellora's Cave and The Wild Rose Press, my first New York published book was released in September - a vampire romance called Blood on Silk, first in the Awakened by Blood trilogy.
The other thing about me is that I'm Scottish, by birth and residence, and so I thought it was appropriate to make our first theme party all about the ever popular Scottish romance. Watch this space for more announcements soon!
