Summer Contest!

Just before I head off to the sun for two weeks, I'm going to post the promised summer contest :).

But first, I want to tell you about the Dead Man's Party over at The Romance Studio from 24th - 26th June. It's celebrating the undead, and obviously I'm obviously all in favour of that :). I also plan to be there if I can make my internet connection work from Turkey :).
You can join the party here: http://theromancestudio.com/party/.

I'm also celebrating the release of Demon's Kiss with a slightly belated cyberlaunch party at Author Island on 26th June (again, internet connection willing!). http://www.cyberlaunchparty.blogspot.com/. Hope to see you there!

And so to the contest!

Is there an exotic location you'd particularly like to read about as the setting for a story? Either an old favourite or one you've never come across but would like to? Comment below to tell us where it is and what the attraction is!

The contest will close at midnight on 12th July, and I'll pick a winner at random from all the comments received. The prize will be two of my short, hot summer ebooks: ESCAPE: Devilish Fantasy and Heat Stroke: Cool Pool.

Good luck!
Marie

  1. I really like stories set on islands--any warm, tropical island with lots of sun, jungle-like areas, waterfalls, private lagoons, etc. They are just relaxing and make me think of really hot guys with little clothing, wet from the water....

  2. I like arctic/antarctic outposts. They give good opportunity to heat things up - all in the interest of keeping warm, of course.

  3. I am really intrigued by South Vietnam. Actually, Phuket Island. I saw it on one of my favorite cooking shows and I have been wanting to go there ever since! What intrigues me? The beaches, the food, the fact that it's cut off from just about everything!

  4. My favorite vacation spot is Puerto Rico, though I haven't explored as much of the island as I would like to - yet... Perhaps a heroine could do some exploring for me?

  5. Si Batang island (off Borneo island) would be a lovely setting. It is one of the world's famous diving spots and has a wonderous sea life. It is protected, though, and I believe there is a limit on the number of visitors to the island.

  6. Since I'm a summer baby I love story that take place on a tropical island. I love Jamaica because that's where my family comes from. But I've always wanted to go to Hawaii or Bora Bora.
